She Reminded Me of a Girl I Knew

Two men discover the body of a young girl on the river bank near a small village in Belgium.  As the people of the town learn of the news, the men head towards the girl’s family home to deliver the devastating news.  Then they look inside the window…..

Watching the life inside the home and knowing it will never be the same after this dreadful night, the news grows even more impossible to deliver the longer they watch.  As their confidence shrinks, the villagers draw nearer with the child’s body in tow.

Based on a play by Maurice Maeterlink, this world premiere was adapted and composed by the incredible team that created Crime and Punishment for the pUsh Festival.
