Performances Begin July 5th, 2012
The hit production about a Christian boy band on a mission to save souls is back by popular demand! After a successful Vancouver run and BC tour in 2009, Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan and Abraham will return to Granville Island to play the Revue Stage.
It’s the last show on the Altar Boyz North American “Raise the Praise” tour and they’re planning to go out with a bang! They’ve heard there are PLENTY of souls in need of saving on the Lower Mainland, so they’ve brought along the Sony Soul Sensor DX-12 which will measure the number of fans in the theatre who’re burdened with sin.
Can the Boyz’ phat dance movez and heavenly harmonies save the Revue Stage’s patrons, or will the Altar Boyz be torn apart themselves in the attempt?
A hilarious 90-minute pop musical, you’ll leave the theatre singing lyrics like “Jesus called me on my cell phone”, “Girl, you make me wanna wait” and “I am Catholic, hear me roar!”
CAST: Jeremy Crittenden as “Matthew”, Geoff Stevens as “Abraham”, Michael Culp as “Juan”, Jak Barradell as “Luke” and Robert Markus as “Mark”.
